Burke, Hall, Zanter (BHZ) came about during ECHOFLUXX 14 in Prague, CZ where Brigid and Mark both presented and performed with the festival ensemble. In early 2015 Brigid was invited to the U.S. under the Edwards Distinguished Professor of the Arts program at Marshall University, and the tracks on this album were recorded in between tour stops during her residency. The tour and recording sessions featured music by Burke and Zanter and works created by the group in the studio. Total Harmonic Distortion is a record of that short, but intense work period in April 2015.
